Set up in a large house just across from a cemetery, no one would guess that behind Skylight's simple front door would lay a cavernous cathedral to sculpture. Founded in 1970, Skylight Studios designs, molds and creates custom bronze sculptures for both public and private commissions. The artisans also restore classic pieces and offer reproduction services in addition to installing large pieces in public spaces. The excellent website with several detailed slide shows showcase past works. While appointments are not needed, if you want to sit down with someone about a commission, it may be best to call ahead.

For more than 28 years, Cherrylion Studios, located on the Morris Street and Old Chattahoochee Avenue, has specialized in fine-art sculptured pieces serving large corporations to individual customers. Commissioned sculptures range from life-size to impressionistic base reliefs. Individual classes are offered for the novice and amature sculpting artist.

The Field Gallery was created in the 1970s by a group of island artists. The garden continues to be the permanent sculpture garden of the work of Tom Maley. The three interior galleries offer rotating works year-round of both local and international contemporary painters, photographers and sculptors.
