It addresses the impact of water on the local environment and helps set and enforce codes that will ensure a sound long-term resource management plan of action.
The Glen Echo Fire Department, located on Massachusetts Avenue in Bethesda, dates back to 1931. The station is staffed by five career firefighters along with a volunteer staff. It houses an ambulance, a fire engine and an all-terrain vehicle.
