Holy Name Catholic Church is located on Harmon Street, and has been a part of the Birmingham community for more than 80 years. The church's ministry program is active in its members' lives, with a variety of programs for seniors, bereavement services and various outreach programs.
The church is active in promoting the health of its parishioners with its Parish Health Ministry Program. Holy Name provides blood pressure screening, CPR training sessions and various speakers throughout the year.
The church building features its three large stained-glass windows, all designed by Detroit native, Margaret Cavanaugh.

The church is active with the Chaldean Federation and the Chaldean-American Ladies of Charity in the Adopt-a-Refugee charity program and the Helping Hands program to help those in need internationally and locally.
Services at Resurrection Parish are led by Pastor Kenneth Chase. It is located on the south side of Warren Road, between Beck and Ridge roads. Music ministries are offered for kids and adults of all ages, and the church is also active in the community through outreach programs.
St. John Vianney is a Catholic church that strives to make the parish community a nurturing and all-welcoming center for everyone. It believes in sharing the word of the Lord in worship while enjoying fellowship and celebrating the church's spirituality. Mass is held Monday and Tuesday at 9:15 a.m.; Thursday at 7 p.m. and Friday at 9:15 a.m.
Monastery of The Blessed Sacrament is located in a beautiful tree-filled setting. The Church is Roman Catholic and home to the Cloistered Dominican Nuns. The chapel is open daily from 6:45am to 5:00pm and offers daily evening prayers at 4:30pm and the celebration of the Eucharist daily at 7:15am. There is also a gift shop. This is one of the most distinctive church buildings in Royal Oak with its white stone walls, carved Virgin Mary and facade. The church is known for its bells that toll every Sunday morning, ringing throughout downtown. The traditional Catholic parish has an active Christian service ministry that raises money for good works.
