Berkeley Buddhist Monastery offers daily meditation that is open to all and weekly Tai Ji Quan and yoga classes. The monastery is also home to the Institute for World Religions, which has a variety of classes on Buddhism including those meant to foster an interfaith dialogue.
Pastor Oliver Box conducts a service every Sunday morning at 11am at Sylvan Abbey United Methodist Church. Youth groups and a women's fellowship meet weekly. There is a choir as well.
The Most Blessed Sacrament Friary houses Catholic Franciscan monks. The friars provide both guidance and physical needs like food and clothing to the community.
The Convent of Saint John Baptist is located on a vast property on West Main Street in Mendham. The residents have built a community around being committed to loving God, chastity, poverty and obedience. The nuns partake in retreats, special events, religious studies, community activism and fundraising.
Monastery of The Blessed Sacrament is located in a beautiful tree-filled setting. The Church is Roman Catholic and home to the Cloistered Dominican Nuns. The chapel is open daily from 6:45am to 5:00pm and offers daily evening prayers at 4:30pm and the celebration of the Eucharist daily at 7:15am. There is also a gift shop.
