The Sugar Hill Christian Academy, also known as SHCA, is an educational institution that provides academic and Christian education to students in kindergarten through grade six. Established in 1999, the school offers accelerated reader programs for its students. It operates the Christian Academy Parents Association, which conducts various meetings and conferences that focus on parental involvement in children s education. The Sugar Hill Christian Academy maintains a staff of teachers that offers educational classes in phonics, bible study, English, music, art, Spanish, physical education, reading, writing, social studies and math. The school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The Sugar Hill Christian Academy is a self-funded outreach ministry of Sugar Hill United Methodist Church.
