RiverStone Church was started by Scott and Vickie Westbrook. In 2008 it moved into its current location near Friendship Road. It provides prayer and study groups for men and women as well as groups for children and teens. Riverstone Church invites everyone to come as they are and learn about God.
In addition to three weekly worship services, the Calvary Chapel of Gwinnett also offers a wide range of programs for the entire family. Lead by senior pastor Mark Byrd, it hosts Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Heritage Girls for children as well as men's and women's ministries, singles events, a library, missionary programs and webcasts of sermons.
Zion Hill Baptist Church is dedicated to serving its community and ministering to families through worship, fellowship and outreach programs. The church supports various groups and ministries, including Ladies Prayer Warrior Group, Men's Prayer Group, Team Kid, Youth Group and choir ministry. It supports the Zion Hill Food Pantry and is always welcoming new members.
Fusion Church is an exciting, contemporary center of Christian worship. At Fusion Church, pastor Tony McCollum creates a fun, down to earth environment designed to effectively communicate the message of the Bible in a way that emphasizes applications in the modern world. Fusion offers two Sunday services, and has innovative programs geared to children from infancy through high school. The Fusion KidZone is divided into five age groups, each with specific activities and events. The church is dedicated to the merging of God and real life in a friendly, relaxed setting.
Victory World Church at Hamilton Mill was opened in 2010 as a second location to accommodate the growing congregation of Victory World Church in Norcross. Lead by pastors Johnson and Summer Bowie, the church operates as a single church with two locations. It is a non-denominational church for people of all backgrounds. In addition to weekly sermons on Saturday and Sunday, the church offers a variety of programs, including ministries, missions and outreach programs.
Back to The Bible Holiness Church is led by Pastor Bobby Wright. The church believes in the second coming of Jesus Christ. There are several services throughout the week, as well as Sunday school for children. The church also organizes events for its members.
The Word of Faith Church is a Christian establishment emphasizing community and salvation. It hosts regular services, study groups and age-based and themed ministries such as Twelve Baskets Food, Discipleship and Financial Counseling ministry. New members are always welcome.
Resthaven Baptist Church hosts regular worship services, fellowship meetings for men and women, youth programs and Sunday school. Resthaven Baptist Church is located between Thompson Mill and Friendship roads.
Old Suwanee Baptist Church hosts regular worship services, Sunday school, children's church, prayer meetings, ministries and men's fellowship. It has been serving the local community for more than 180 years and also oversees Old Suwanee Christian School, which is located on the same property.
Led by preacher Bob Mahan, Hamilton Mill Christian Church is a non-denominational church with no state or national connections. The church focuses on creating a positive and uplifting worship environment. In addition to two weekly worship times, the church also offers Bible study, classes and ministries for all ages, day care during programs and a youth basketball and cheerleading programs. The First Pentecostal Church of Buford, with its stately brick exterior and white spire, is an impressive and involved local religious institution. In addition to two Sunday services, First United Pentecostal offers Sunday school, youth programs, ministries for men and women of all ages, Bible study and a Spanish ministry. A Spanish-language service is held on Saturdays.
