The Tennis and Racquet Club ( T&R ) was founded in 1902 and remains the oldest athletic and social club in the city of Boston. The club is known for its century-old tradition of court tennis ( the regal, slate-walled ancestors of all racquet sports ), the unique and exciting game of racquets, and its top-rated squash program. The T&R also offers a fitness center, mens and womens locker rooms, function rooms, a full service member bar, and a full calendar of social events. Our head professionals, Jimmy Burke and Nadeem Osmoan are among the best in the country. Nadeem and Jimmy provide private and group lessons for members of all skill levels. The T&R was founded to build camaraderie in a highly welcoming atmosphere unique to a club that combines social activities and athletics. Our squash leagues, frequent tournaments, and lively social events provide countless opportunities for the new and seasoned member to enjoy the club. The T&R has reciprocal memberships with various racquet clubs located in the United States, Canada, and England. In addition, the club is a member of the IHRSA Passport Program which allows club members to access IHRSA affiliated clubs around the world.

Open since the 1960s, Potomac Squash Club is a committee-run private club of approximately 115 members. It attracts primarily professional and business people of all levels. This includes the highest-level professional players. Notably through its sponsorship of the Potomac Fever Squash Tournament, it hosts tournaments and coaching events by internationally ranked players. The facility offers the feel of a health club by complementing its state-of-the-art squash courts with cardio equipment, a locker room complete with a steam room, as well as a TV lounge.

We use the sport of squash, along with academic support and enrichment, community service, and college mentoring, to improve the lives of our youth and expose them to opportunities. Since its inception in 1996, SquashBusters has served more than 600 young people. Through its unique program, SquashBusters transforms the lives of its students and the communities in which they live.

Our facilities include 4 Clay Courts, 3 Hard Courts, and 2 Outdoor Har-Tru Courts as well as 2 indoor Squah Courts and a Basketball Court. Newton Squash & Tennis Club is a private club that is owned and operated by its members. It is conveniently located in Newton Centre, just off Commonwealth Avenue near Centre Street on Chestnut Terrace. The club features four outdoor tennis courts that rival any in New England and two adjoining international squash courts that can be combined into one doubles court.
