Taylor's House of Karate is an American karate school for people of all ages in and around Marin County. It offers classes for each belt level every day Monday through Friday, and it also has a cardio karate class for adults. Students can enroll at Taylor's House of Karate by purchasing a monthly membership which allows you access to as many classes as you'd like. You can come in every few days, once a week, or even less. The Marin Yacht Club features three docks with 118 slips. It also has a full clubhouse for members, as well as a bar, swimming pool, tennis court and shower facilities. The club's Junior Sailing Program teaches boating safety, seamanship and teamwork. Marin Yacht Club even has its own Bocce league and regularly holds special events like yachtman's luncheons. The Marin Yacht Club grants four $2,500 scholarships to yachting students each year.

Little League offers the first experience for youth to play baseball in a team environment. Starting with T-ball, children ages 5 through 6 learn the fundamentals of baseball. The San Rafael Little League chapter operates out of the Glenwood Elementary School.
US Sports Camps (USSC) is known for being the largest network of sports camps in the United States. It offers youth and adult programs for sports including NIKE basketball, baseball, tennis, volleyball, swim, water polo and soccer. The camps operate during summers at more than 400 national locations, bringing together tens of thousands of athletic campers. This location is US Sports Camps' main office and headquarters. It is not open to the public.
The California USBC Association was chartered on May 1, 2006, formed from the merger of the California State Bowling Association, California's Women Bowling Association and the California State Young American Bowling Alliance, Inc. It hosts annual tournaments, including the largest state championship in the nation.

Opened in 1961, Loch Lomond Yacht Club is a private membership yacht club located near Peacock Gap. It has approximately 290 members and offers various activities, including a weekly Saturday dinner for members and their guests.
United Studios of Self Defense has been operating since 2000. It offers both group classes and private training for men, women and children of all ages. You'll find an extensive list of class schedules and programs on its website. United Studios of Self Defense is located on the Redwood Highway frontage road. It is near Bank of Marin and Bank of America.
The San Rafael Yacht Club was founded in 1938. A member of the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association, the private club features a 4,000-square-foot club house with a cocktail lounge and dining and dancing areas and a 300-foot dock to accommodate watercraft. Members participate in power and sail fleet cruises throughout the year.
The Marin Tennis Club has 12 separate courts for patrons to use, eight of which are available for night play. It offers private lessons, league teams, and a year-round program of training clinics. The facility also has a heated swimming pool and a café, as well as an exercise room and Jacuzzis and saunas for men and women. The Marin Tennis Club even has its own theater group and such community activities as bridge night.
This unincorporated Marinwood area offers a variety of services to the community, including recreation, preschool groups, tennis and swim lessons and classes for children, teens and adults. Summer and holiday camps are also hosted. The district manages two public parks and 800 acres of open space. The fire station is within the district.
TJ's Gym specializes in teaching the CrossFit Method, a workout program used by police academies, martial artists and tactical operations teams across the nations. It focuses on body movements and draws from gymnastics, cardiovascular fitness and Olympic weightlifting. TJ's gym also pays special care to nutrition education and offers free lectures on proper dieting techniques to its customers.

The Just Dance Academy teaches students recreational and concentrated dancing in a safe and friendly environment. They offer weekly classes in modern, ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and contemporary dance styles. In addition to bi-annual recitals, the Academy participates in dance competitions throughout the year in the San Francisco Bay Area. Anyone who has been in the program for at least a year and has reached the second grade can audition to take part in them.
Dave Kregel brings more than 35 years of tennis experience to his tennis center, which is located in the Santa Venetia area of San Rafael. The Dave Kregel Tennis Center has been in operations for more than 20 years. The center offers both private and group lessons. A summer tennis camp is also offered for children from ages 6 to 15. This facility offers hours into the evenings, as their tennis courts are equipped with lights.
Curves, the largest international fitness franchise, is a fitness club specifically designed for women. This Curves location in the Harbor Center is a Shining Star Club for its outstanding excellence. Its weight loss program involves circuit training on its hydraulic resistance equipment which lets you exercise as hard as you can for 30 seconds per machine. The Bernard Osher Marin Jewish Community Center (JCC) shares a campus and some facilities with the Brandeis Hillel School and Congregation Rodef Sholom. The JCC offers a range of programs and services, including music and speaking events, senior events like bridge night and a preschool and daycare program. In addition, the Koret Center for Health and Fitness has been voted the Best in Marin multiple years. The fitness center includes two 25-yard pools, an indoor pool and an outdoor lap pool, a kiddie pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. The community center also has a gift shop and cafe. It has been a part of the Jewish community here for decades.
