Painter Tool is a manufacturing and machining facility located in Southwestern Pennsylvania about twenty miles southeast of downtown Pittsburgh. Since our inception in 1967, we have been involved as a contractor for US military applications and specialized commercial applications. We have a broad range of experience and knowledge in machining, fabricating, and welding traditional parts and components coupled with the ability to apply current usable technology. We have a quality system that meets or exceeds the requirements of Mil-I-45208 and ISR-1, which meets or exceeds most ISO provisions and commercial nuclear requirements. Because of this longtime exposure to precision machining Painter Tool has become very efficient and understands the most complex jobs and quality requirements. Painter Tool began as a family business with Logan Painter providing the initial leadership. He came with the experience of being a tool & die maker and as one of the original contractors for the U.S. Naval Nuclear program. David Painter is one of the sons who started the company and was for many years an integral part of it. He and his wife Carol assumed full ownership of PTI in November of 2007. Their goal is to advance the company into the 21st century as a dependable supplier for key industries. In all we do we desire that it would be done in such a way as to honor our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope to be able to meet the needs of our customers by providing dependable manufacturing service that is versatile and cost effective. We also want to provide a good working environment for our employees that will provide them with the security for the present and the future and will be satisfying and effective for them.
