Located on the historic town common in beautiful downtown Amherst, Massachusetts, A. J. Hastings is a family owned and operated business that has been providing office and school supplies to the local community and nearby collegiate market since 1914. We are well known both locally and among Amherst College alumni for the wide variety of merchandise we carry. Since 1991 we have sent out an annual flyer showing our selection of Amherst College clothing and merchandise which is available by mail-order. This service has proved to be extremely popular, and we have had a steadily increasing number of requests to make our merchandise available online. Thus, this site, www.ajhastings.com. Of course, we still welcome orders by mail and phone, and will be happy to send out flyers upon request as well.
