Bascom Maple Farms, founded in 1853, is one of the largest producers of maple syrup in the United States and supplies maple products to packers, distributors, manufactures and retailers. Located in Alstead, N.H., it maintains a large inventory of supplies and new and used equipment, including airtight arch fronts, arch installation, automatic drwasoffs, brushes, buckets, candy equipments and supplies, cleaners, Containers, defoamer, evaporators and accessories, filters, canning units, forced draft units, gas finishers, grade sets, grates, labels, oil burners, pumps and scoops and skimmers. Bascom farm is spread on 2,200-acres of land and rents groves at other New Hampshire locations in addition to its own maple orchards.
