Dakota County Technical College, located in Rosemount, Minn., is a more than 500,000 square-foot facility spread over 200 acres of land. The college has an enrollment of more than 14,000 students. It provides education for employment, and also has one of the highest job placement percentages in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. Dakota County Technical College offers more than 30 occupational technical programs, over 25 associate in applied sciences degrees, a driving range, and a customized training center that serves as a link to business and industry. The institution also runs an employment and training center that serves unemployed, underemployed, and displaced workers in Dakota County. It also runs a child care center.
