The Fellowship of Life Church was founded by Greg Manalli, its Senior Pastor, in May of 1980. The vision and direction of the church has been incorporated within its name -- Fellowship of Life. The thrust of the church has been to bring people into a deeper fellowship with Jesus Christ and with one another, and to enjoy an abundant life full of the joy and purposes that God has for every individual. In its early years, the church met in various places in Cheshire. As the church went through its growth stages, it was located in the surrounding communities of Southington and Wallingford before moving to its present location in 1985. With each move have come new opportunities and new challenges. All have worked to strengthen our character as a church and prepare us for the work the Lord has for us. The Fellowship of Life is not only a local congregation in Cheshire, but also has a regional sphere of influence. Congregants come from all over Central Connecticut and beyond. In addition to our regular Sunday morning service and Wednesday evening prayer/worship meeting, we have a number of house churches which meet throughout Central Connecticut on a flexible schedule to maintain the direction and flow of the Holy Spirits leading. These house church meetings give the believer opportunities to grow spiritually with one another and to learn to care for and intimately walk with members of the Body of Christ for their mutual well-being. In this way, Christ is brought to our neighborhoods and communities to touch people with Gods love and purposes.

Our overriding mission is to reach and help hurting people, to connect them with them and teach them the Truth. In order to fulfill that mission, we have a variety of ministries and programs designed to reach and minister to a variety of needs - from our Sunday Worship Services to our Mid-Week Outreach Service to our various targeted ministries - we are committed to helping everyone we minister to develop a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ. Pleasant Valley was founded as a Southern Baptist church in 1961 by Pastor James E. Schneider, Sr., his wife Louise, and 46 other charter members. The church began as a mission work initiated that met in the YMCA in New London, later moving to Pleasant Valley Elementary School as the congregation grew, before breaking ground on its current location on Grove Avenue in Groton. As the Holy Spirit became increasingly involved in our church, we entered into a new freedom that lead us to become a non-denominational church in 1996.

Welcome to Groton Bible Chapel We are a non-denominational church of those who love Jesus Christ. Our weekly gatherings are designed to bring the Good News of Christ to those who have never heard and to challenge believers to greater obedience. We offer two worship styles: our 8: 30AM service features music which is a mix of traditional and newer praise songs, led by a small praise choir and orchestral accompaniment. At 10 & 11: 30AM, a full praise band leads our music in contemporary style. The same biblical and practical sermon is given at all three services. Are you new to the area? Are you looking for relationships with caring people? Do you desire outstanding opportunities for children and teens? Have you been looking for a Bible-based church that teaches Gods Word? Come check us out! We invite you to come and be a part of our family!

The Evangelical Free Church is an association of nearly 1, 300 autonomous churches joined together by common purposes, principles and practices. Ministries include two universities, mission hospitals, camps, almost six hundred missionaries serving in forty-five countries, and institutions for children and the elderly. The Branford Evangelical Free Church began as a Bible study in a home in 1955. As attendance grew the church moved to The Academy on the Green. In 1957 a building was purchased on Hopson Avenue from Tabor Lutheran. Further growth prompted the purchase of property and construction of a new building on Leetes Island Road where the church has been meeting since September 1986. In 2006 we celebrated 50 years of ministry. Since the early years the church has believed that its ministry reaches beyond Branford to the towns and communities that surround it on the Connecticut Shoreline. You can find our Mission and Vision statement at the following link. Our mission includes spiritual growth both individually and corporately but also the physical growth of the congregation as we represent Jesus Christ to our family, friends and community.
