The Serbian Orthodox Church established itself in Pittsburgh in 1906 and since then has been a guide and community resource for Serbia's Christian expatriates and their descendents. The Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral on Maxwell Drive hasn't changed since it was built in 1971. About 400 families are members.
The cathedral offers Saturday confession times and a Sunday service but also an assortment of other activities, such as a ladies auxiliary, a men's club, Sunday school and the Holy Trinity Cathedral Choir. The cathedral itself, located in the Borough of Whitehall, is a beautiful piece of architecture with multiple levels of seating and an impressively high ceiling.
St. George Greek Orthodox Church is lead by Rev. Fr. Anastasios Bourantus. The Greek Orthodox church is one of the oldest denominations of the Christian faith. The church believes in the teaching of the Christian Bible and in the traditions of the historical church. St George Greek Orthodox Church is a newly constructed, beautiful building. it holds a traditional Sunday service as well as a variety of classes and programs throughout the week.

St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church on South Trooper Road is led by Reverend Father Peter Thornberg, Reverend Father John A. Limberakis and Pastor Emeritus. Regular services take place on Sundays and additional services are offered during holiday seasons. The Church is affiliated and facilitates organizations such as HOPE/JOY/GOYA/YAL, Altar Boys Guild, Catechetical School, Church Choir and Cantors, Greek Language School and Parent Teachers Organization. Sunday school is available for school-age children.
Greek Orthodox Church of St. Luke is a place of worship servicing its congregation and the community. The church offers a variety of programs for its youth and adults and runs events every month. Sunday school is offered here, and there is a Greek School, providing study of the language and literature.
St. Sahag & St. Mesrop Armenian Apostolic Church is located in Wynnewood, a quaint part of Lower Merion township. On January 3, 2010 the church welcomed its new pastor, the Very Rev. Fr. Oshagan Gulgulian. Armenian heritage and the celebration of religious traditions, history and worship are at the center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. At Wynnewood, summer camp programs for youths include classes in Armenian language, heritage and culture, arts and crafts, religion, sports and swimming.
