St. James Armenian Church Evanston has served the largest concentration of the Armenian community in Chicago since 1944. The parish is located in the heart of downtown at the doorstep of the University. Its diverse congregation numbers about 200 people from all corners of the Armenian world--Turkey, the Middle East and the Republic of Armenia--as well as many downtown professionals and families who are third and fourth generation in the parish. St. James offers an active Sunday School and young adults group (ACYOA) as well as a Women's Guild and its Kousan Choir. The parish is best known as host of Evanston's annual Taste of Armenia Festival which draws more than 2,500 people of all ethnic backgrounds for a leisurely day of charcoal-grilled kebab and home-cooked Armenian delicacies, live music for dancing, special cultural presentations and games for the kids.

St. Mary Armenian Church is one of only five Armenian churches in New Jersey and draws members from several nearby counties. Led by Father Souin, who has been pastor for nine years, the church's motto is "The Little Church that Shares and Cares at Prayer." The Divine Liturgy is conducted in English and Armenian, with hymns sung in Armenian by a choir.

St. Mary parishioners have many opportunities to take part in Armenian cultural activities. In addition to a regular Sunday school, the church runs the Aratian Armenian School, which provides three levels of instruction (Pre-K/K, beginner, and intermediate) in Armenian language, history, dance and music. The church also has youth groups that emphasize Armenian heritage. Choreg (traditional Armenian bread), fresh from St. Mary's kitchen, is sold on Sundays, and Armenian food is a part of many church activities.

The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church has a robust congregation. They are known around New Rochelle for their elaborate and highly successful Greek Festivals once a year in the fall. The church also runs groups for women, married couples, seniors and kids.

Services are every day at 9:30 a.m. (Orthros) and 10-11 a.m. (Liturgy). On Sundays, there is fellowship and coffee in the community center immediately following the Divine Liturgy.

Holy Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church holds religious services and activities for local members of the traditional Armenian Christian community. Established in 1960, the property has grown to include Ferrahian High School, the nation's first Armenian educational institution. The church shares the values of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America.

This Greek Orthodox Church opened its doors on September 29, 1957.  The first service was celebrated on Christmas Eve with 12 worshipers and 4 board members. Today, St Constantine is lead by Rev. Dr. Steven J Callos and Rev. Peter Metallinos and 12 council members. All families are welcome and can request membership in person or online. Worship services are held on Saturdays and various days throughout the week for special occasion. All dates and times are listed on their Web site. This parish recently started an education program from pre-k until 2nd grade. The first class consisted of 25 students in attendance. This is conveniently located on Mayfield Road in a residential neighborhood with on street parking or in the lot.

This parish is located on the corner of 103rd Street and Kolmar Avenue. St. Nicholas operates several youth programs, evening adult Bible study groups and choir practices. It also erected Dochios Kamberos Community Center annexed to the church, which features a large gym for recreational activities.
