Coy Jankowsky, Tom Wilson, Bruce Tassell and Pat Tassell opened Doc Pierces Restaurant in 1976. The restaurant features a unique decor of more than 60 Tiffany-style lamps, backlit stained glass windows and antique artifacts, including a carrousel horse and a potbelly stove. Doc Pierces is known for its aged and hand cut steaks and jumbo peel and eat shrimp. It serves lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, and dinner on Sundays.
