Cabell County Clerks Office is responsible for the recording and preservation of legal documents. The legal records maintained at the county clerk s office include land records, birth, death and marriage records and wills. As the countys chief financial officer, the county clerk is also responsible for maintaining and processing countys financial records, including the budget, payroll and accounts payable. The county clerk also serves as the countys chief election officer. A function of the County Clerks Office is conducting Cabell County elections. The office is open from Monday through Friday.
