Calcot. Ltd owns one of the largest cotton warehousing systems in the United States, with six locations totaling 166 warehouses. Located in Hanford, Calif., over one million bales can be stored at any one time among its six warehouse plants. The company is a major supplier of raw cotton to the worlds textile mills and one of the largest cotton marketing cooperatives in the world. It is also a member of Amcot, the trade association of four major U.S. cotton marketing cooperatives (Calcot, Plains Cotton Cooperative Association, Staplcotn and Cotton Growers Cooperative).
