This non-profit organization is dedicated to helping children who are currently in foster care. We handle the fundraising and logistics of setting up venues, games, resources and events for these amazing, happy, lovable kids and their families. Our goal is to bring happiness, fun, and a sense of pride to each of our participating children and their families. From a movie night to a day at the zoo or a baseball game, our sole focus is to help these beautiful children feel like the truly special individuals that they are. Special Delivery San Diego, founded in 1991, is a nonprofit organization that provides home delivery of food for men, women and children who are suffering from AIDS and other terminal diseases. The organization, located in San Diego, also offers pickup services for people who live outside its service area and those who require emergency nutrition due to financial needs. Its kitchen volunteers prepare food according to the individual dietary needs and also package, organize and deliver meals. Tradition One is funded in part by the County of San Diego, Department of Alcohol and Drug Services, Federal and State agencies,. In addition, resident fees and public donations are other sources of funding. We welcome and sincerely appreciate all donations either public or private. Tradition One is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. Donations to our facility are tax deductible. Financial responsibilities are an integral part of the recovery process. Room and board is $400.00 per month. Arrangements for fees are discussed during the application and interview process of the prospective resident. Tradition One is a non-profit organization which maintains and operates a facility dedicated to the rehabilitation of persons in the continuing process of recovery from alcoholism and other drug addictions. Our Mens House was established in the fall of 1971 and our Womens program in 1982. We are an accredited Social Model Recovery Home, licensed and certified by the State of California, Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs. The Mens house has accommodations for 38 residents; the Womens facility for 8.

The Church at Rancho Bernardo has grown exponentially since it first opened in 1990. Founded in a living room by two Christian couples, it soon expanded to a school, and now operates out of an expansive building on Bernardo Plaza Court, where the church is home to more than 2,000 members.
