Mason Mill Park is the largest park in the North Druid Hills community. Its major features include a multi-use field, tennis courts, recreation center, picnic area, lake and trails, a community garden and other amenities. It also underwent a major renovation in 2010 and upgrades continue.
Roswell Historic Cottage is a charming and elegant event venue. Featuring dramatic high ceilings, original brick walls, exposed beams and a grand open loft, the historic venue is frequently used for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate functions, bar and bat mitzvahs, family parties and other special events. The 4,000-square-foot facility holds up to 340 guests and features complimentary valet parking. The Roswell Historic Cottage can recommend caterers and a number of party vendors or the guests can make their own arrangements.
Central Park Recreation Center sits on the edge of the 17-acre Central Park. The curvy brick building with yellow accents is operated by the city of Atlanta Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.
The center offers a variety of programs, from youth football to adult aerobics, cheerleading, photography and hip hop dance. The center has a fitness room and computer lab, which are open Mon - Fri, from 3pm to 8pm and Sat, from 9am to 2pm. The facility closed in 2008 amid city of Atlanta budget cuts, but reopened in August 2010.
Calhoun Pregnancy Center, Inc is a non-profit Christian Organization supported solely by local churches and gifts from individuals. We have been serving women and families in the Calhoun, Ga area since 1987.
We are operated by volunteers who are committed to Christian values and who believe in the sanctity of all human life.

Cumming Fairgrounds hosts county fairs, festivals and during the summer season, a farmer's market. Among these events are the IPRA World Champion Rodeo, the annual Steam and Gas Engine Expo, community yard sales and free concerts. There is also a farming village that demonstrate the functions of a cotton gin and corn and syrup mills. A huge parking lot is available across the street. The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) is a membership-based center that includes schools, fitness and sports facilities, adult classes and a theater. The MJCCA puts on many events throughout the year, including its annual Book Festival, plays and family events. Memberships start as low as $34 per month.
The Buford Community Center, Town Park & Theatre is a multi-venue public use facility. It boasts the Sylvia Beard Theatre, a ballroom, multi-purpose rooms, a nine acre park with an amphitheatre, interactive water fountain and picnic areas. The space is available for a variety of uses including weddings, meetings, receptions, performances, film screenings and more. The staff is equipped to assist in events and provide ticketing, AV equipment, concessions, ushers and catering.
The Hammonds House Museum was established in 1988 to increase awareness of creative works by people of African descent. According to museum officials, some 10,000 individuals visit the site annually.
Activities at the Hammonds House include lectures, workshops, demonstrations, panel discussions, youth programming and special art showings and events. In addition to regular events, the museum hosts four or five major exhibitions every year.
The museum is the former residence of the late Dr. Otis Hammonds, an Atlanta anesthesiologist and arts collector who died in the mid-1980s.
Browns Mill Recreation Center is a community center whose facilities include a gym, multi-purpose room and picnic shelter.
Operated by the city of Atlanta, Peachtree Hills Park and Community Center features a ball field, tennis courts, a community garden, a playground and walking trails. The Friends of Peachtree Hills Park are working hard to improve the park, and it has already become a popular gathering place for community members who gather to garden, play with their kids and walk their dogs. Along with the amenities of an urban park, the walking trails lead past undeveloped nature areas, including a creek that runs through the park. The Roswell Cultural Arts Center has provided the local community with a venue for performing and visual arts since 1991 when it first opened its doors. Located adjacent to the Roswell Municipal Complex and the Roswell Library, the Cultural Arts Center offers an array of productions and exhibits to residents and visitors throughout the year.
In addition to the 600-seat auditorium, the center also houses the city's archives and research library as well as an exhibit hall and meeting and event space.
