Pastor Charles W. Froehlich has been the pastor for more than 30 years. St. Luke's has been in Dix Hills since 1962. It was the first Lutheran Church in Dix Hills and one of the first churches built in the area.
Meetings for parents with troubled teenagers and the local Boy Scouts troop are held here. The church also has services around the holidays like Easter and Thanksgiving to bring food to the underserved as well as on Super Bowl Sunday.
Founded in 1901, Christ Church offers a wide variety of activities, including five different choirs, Sunday school for children, a young-adult group, book groups, a Working Mother's Fellowship and a seminar series, among other programs. The Episcopal Youth Community, for high school students, also leads two yearly trips, including one to the Taize monestary in France.

The Glen Cove Christian Church was established in 1960 by the Orchard Group, who have been establishing churches in the metro area for the last fifty years. They offer a lively, expressive worship service that encourages families to worship together. They also have an infant nursery and programs for children which consists of worship and elementary classes.
Riverhead United Methodist Church, located on East Main Street, has been active since 1833. The congregation operates a thrift shop, open from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. Pastor Gordon Bienvenue leads services, which are held on Sundays at 10am.
