Sweet Essentials offers Sydney Bogg's quality, hand-made chocolates. Sydney Bogg's chocolates have been a Detroit favorite since 1936. Owners Lisa, Debbie and Gary are carrying on the Bogg tradition, as they stock this shop with sweet, premium chocolates that are great for gift giving or a personal treat. Speciality orders and gift boxes are also available.
Doc Sweets' Candy is the largest retail candy shop in Michigan. Along with its size, it also has the largest selection of candy types, flavors and styles; "If they make it, [Doc Sweets' has] it...or can get it." For customers who prefer to stay in and shop online, Doc Sweet's has partnered with Groovy Candies, an online candy store, making all of Doc Sweets' candies available at the click of a mouse.
The store still has the nostalgic look it had when it opened in 1937 and is still operated the same way.
