The district consists of three elementary schools: Camp Avenue, Harold D. Fayette and Old Mill Road. Graduates then move to the middle and high schools in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District. The administrative office is located adjacent to Fayette. Originally known as district number 29, it was established in 1921. The current name was adopted in 1972. Each school has a PTA and offers ESL along with psychological and social work services. The WINGS program is available for gifted students. For a minimal fee, there is a summer recreation program, held on site at the schools. The district uses the Connect-ED system to alert parents in case of emergency. The superintendent is David Feller.
