The City of Cumming is the "Gateway to Leisure," located northeast of Atlanta, Georgia. Adjacent to Cumming and Forsyth County are the majestic foothills of the north Georgia Mountains and the massive body of water called Lake Lanier. The city's elected officials include Mayor H. Ford Gravitt, Councilman Quincy Holton, Councilman Lewis Ledbetter, Councilman Ralph Perry, Councilman John D. Pugh and Councilman Rupert Sexton.
