White Flint Children's House is a Montessori school caring for infants, toddlers and children ages 3 - 6. Its philosophy is tofoster intellectual and social development so students have a love of learning and a joy for life. The school has large, fully equipped classrooms, a library, gallery, gymnasium and auditorium and an outdoor playground. This includes four pre-school classrooms and two two-year-old rooms. Specialist programs include Chinese, Russian, Spanish, movement, art, music and drama.Field trips and in-house guests further enrich the 11-month curriculum and its optional four-week summer camp. White Flint Children's Houseis a member of Metro Montessori,an association of independent Montessori schools and teacher training programs in the Washington, DC region. There are six member schools.
