A Plus Learning provides after-school enrichment program for third- to 12th-grade students. This is achieved with certified professional teachers, small classes with an average size of nine students, and an advanced curriculum. The 29 teachers working with A Plus have actual classroom experience and advanced degrees in their subject areas.
Courses offered are math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and calculus. Workshops include math, writing, grammar, critical writing and reading. Preparation courses are for PSAT, SAT and SAT-II. All classes are offered in the spring, fall, and summer semester.
An accent modification program is offered to improve fluency. A good knowledge of vocabulary and English grammar is required.
Founded in 1976, The Levine School of Music offers musical education, summer camp, early childhood and elementary music programs and adult community choruses. The Levine School of Music offers a wide range of one-on-one music lessons with premier instructors in voice, guitar, composition and theory, piano and violin and more.
The Manor Montessori School is the oldest Montessori school in Maryland. Since it's founding in 1962, the preschool has grown to two other locations in Bathesda and Potomac. The Potomac location is the main office and specifically designed to be a Montessori school. The Old Georgetown location is the second school for children ages 3 - 6. A sumer day camp is offered from June to mid-August.
The School of Music specializes in teaching classical, metal, country, jazz, folk, pop and blues genres to students of all skill levels, from hobbiests to professionals. With 12 instructors, the school teaches more than 300 students in guitar, piano, drums, violin and voice. Instrument repairs, sales and rentals are also available.
The Primary Montessori Day School offers preschool, kindergarten and elementary education for the mind, hand and heart.
The students are organized in multi-age groups with the classroom arranged in subject areas. The children can freely move about to learn math, language, science, social studies, art, music and computers. Spanish classes are offered twice a week.
The curriculum puts the children in one of three groups: the Twos for two-year-olds, the Primary Program for ages three to six, and the Lower Elementary Program for ages six-to-nine. Classes have 25 to 30 children with one Montessori certified teacher and two skilled assistants who stay with the same class for multiple years. Toddler classes have 12 children.
Older children are required to wear uniforms.
Summer school is offered in July.

Established in 1965, the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School is one of the largest K-12 Jewish day schools in the nation. There are two locations in Rockville because the school split into upper- and lower-level grades nearly 10 years ago as its enrolment kept expanding.
The school prepares students for leadership and active engagement in American society and the Jewish community. In 2010, 40 seniors (45.9% of the class) were offered 79 merit scholarships valued at $3.8 million. In addition, students graduate in February and are sent on a 13-week long, school-sponsered trip to Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
I Drive Smart is a driver education school taught by active-duty or retired police officers. It offers private behind-the-wheel training with an emphasis on practical, real-world experience. I Drive teaches more than just beginners. There's supplemental training that goes beyond the formal state drive education program. These sessions identify and correct problems such as speed control, highway driving and ramp access, lane control and safety refresher training. For seniors, they develop individualized travel routes, skill assessments and identify areas of concern. Classes are held at numerous locations, including Rockville Town Center, Congregation Beth El, Walter Johnson High School and Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. The I Drive Smart office is located at Rockville Town Center, close to the Rockville Metro Station on the red line.
Needwood Academy is an alternative school with an emphasis on cooperative learning, interpersonal skills, positive interaction, self-esteem and healthy lifestyles for high school students with home difficulties. Academic instruction is given to help them earn a high school diploma.
The academy is located in the Parkmonth School, across from the Redgate Municipal Golf Course.
St. Elizabeth School is an award-winning Catholic elementary school for boys and girls in preschool - eighth grade. The school is funded by St. Elizabeth Parish, a community-based church with more than 1500 families. The church focuses on community outreach and stewardship to others.
St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church seeks to follow the teachings of Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century. The church's beliefs can be traced to the Book of Concord and the Augsburg Confession, which advances the believe of justification by grace through faith alone.

The Treatment and Learning Centers (TLC) offers community services such as a hearing center, childcare and preschool programs, testing and tutoring services and community education programs for more than 2,000 individuals annually. Its primary focus is specialized services for children and adults with learning disabilities.
TLC is a nonprofit organization that isn't affiliated with a national organization. It has 210 employees at three locations. It's accredited and approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, Maryland Departments of Education, Health and Mental Hygiene, Rehabilitation Services and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
TLC has contractual relationships with the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration and Division of Rehabilitation Services, CIGNA Health, Medicare and United Healthcare for speech/language pathology and audiology services. Its educational contracts are with the District of Columbia, Arlington County and Montgomery County public schools.

Founded in 1981, the Acadmeny Child Development Center is a non-profit locally run child care provider as well as educational organization. It offers programs in has schools in various locations in Montgomery County, but the main administrative office is in Rockville. The Academy Child Development Center has program options for children from three months to 12 years of age. These programs are: Infant/Toddler, Tiny Tots, Preschool, Discovery Pre-K, Pre-K, and School Age. The school has daycare programs, after school care, and a summer camp. The child/staff ratios are purposefully kept low to facilitate a child-centered approach at education.
Carver Educational Services Center is located on Hungerford Drive in Rockville. The center is home to the Board of Education and administrative offices, including the Office of the Superintendent for the Montgomery County Public School system. The MCPS has 200 schools that serve more than 144,000 students in the area. Historically, the building was home to George Washington Carver High School and Junior College from 1951 to 1960.
St. Patrick's Religious Education Center offers classes and education for kindergarten though the eighth grade. The curriculum is based on the Christ Our Life series. The high school program also uses the Life in Christ: Foundations in Catholic Morality, a text written by Ave Maria Press. Class attendance is mandatory.
The Stone Branch School of Arts offers a range of fine arts classes, including textiles, for children and adults. The classes are taught by professionals in their fields.
