St. Martins Episcopal School, established in 1959, offers educational instruction to students in preschool through grade eight. The school provides educational programs in language arts, social studies, math, science, French and Spanish, computer technology, music and art. It has athletic teams in cross country, volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball, golf and lacrosse. The school s sports team mascot is the warrior, named for St. Martin, a Christian soldier in the Early Middle Ages. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as family night, cookbook, scrapbook, outdoor habitat, teacher appreciation and father-daughter dance. St. Martins Episcopal School has an enrollment of more than 500 students and is located in Atlanta. The school is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Southern Association of Independent Schools. It also offers Explorers, an optional extended day program for students.
