Located in Atlanta, CHRIS Kids main mission is to help heal victimized children by breaking the cycle of abuse, strengthening families and building community. The center is a program of last resort before institutionalization or destitution. CHRIS Kids promotes safe environments for children, families and communities. CHRIS Kids operates nine therapeutic group homes for abused and neglected children, two independent living programs for transitioning youth in need of life skills training, aftercare services and a variety of community programs that help individuals in crisis throughout the Atlanta area. In addition, CHRIS Kids is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children and is a member of the Child Welfare League of America.
