He started out as a machine operator and quickly learned how to maintain the machines, rebuild them, and program them to cut the material. After leaving the industry for a few years Galen finally started his own waterjet job shop, American Waterjet Cutting in 2004. It has been an exciting experience operating a business and he has maintained his passion for the industry and the business.
