The Public Library is the institution entrusted by society to provide its citizens with the opportunity for lifelong learning, discovery and enjoyment. As such the mission of the Crossett Public Library is to make available to all people the broadest possible range of ideas, knowledge, and information to accommodate both popular interest and scholarly research. In support of this mission, the library acquires, organizes, houses, preserves, and makes accessible materials in a variety of formats; develops services and programs in anticipation of and in response to community needs; provides a trained staff to facilitate and enhance the use of library resources; and commits itself to the continual improvement of its operations and services.
