MARVA (Mid-Arkansas River Valley Abilities) Workshop, Inc is a community based work center in Russellville, AR. We are a non-profit organization with a focus on adults with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to provide meaningful work in a setting where individuals can experience success and feel positive about their contribution to the community. MARVA Workshops resale store has been in business for over 40 years and has provided many jobs for adults with developmental disabilities. However, MARVA is much more than just a resale store! Our customized pen and pencil department provides jobs for our people, both in printing and assembling them. We have printed millions of pens for local, national, and international customers. Our recycling program currently provides work for 35+ adults with disabilities, and is in the process of expansion, which will provide even more work. In addition to vocational and pre-vocational training, we offer opportunities in life skills training which encourages social and personal development. * * MARVA is licensed by Arkansas Department of Human Services DDS and Arkansas Rehabilitation Services. It is the intent of the organization to operate in full compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

The Society of St. Vincent dePaul is a Catholic lay organization that works to help the poor in our community. The Thrift Store funds most of our work. We sell second hand clothing, housewares, furniture, books and much more. We accept donations at the rear of the building.
