For 30 years, The King and I has been serving tasty, reasonably priced Thai cuisine to Nyack residents. Five years ago, Jack Klipthong, Robert Davis and his wife Pom, all Nyack natives, bought the restaurant. On any afternoon, come in for the lunch special and Pom will greet and seat you with a warm smile. Their famous Bangkok Duck is delightful.
BKNY Thai Restaurant strives to give customers the traditional cuisine of Bangkok in Bayside. Serving an assortment of fried rice, noodle dishes and Thai-style vegetables, the restaurant's menu is filled with the country's signature spicy sauces and curry. BKNY Thai has number of curry dishes such as Panang curry and Massaman curry, as well as entrees of Pad Prik Khing (sauteed prik khing chili paste) and Pad Woon Sen (sauteed noodles), giving customers the option to choose the level of spiciness with which they are comfortable.
