Greenspring Racquet Club is the largest indoor tennis club in the Mid-Atlantic region and is a chosen facility for the United States Tennis Association. It is also approved as a USTA training center and for USTA league play. Located in Green Spring Station, this private club is made up of 14 indoor tennis courts, six squash courts and two racquetball courts. A variety of additional services are offered, such as towel service, on-site spa and massage services, online court bookings and a Wii game room. Though not associated with the club, there is a café and a fitness center located on-site. Quince Orchard is a large club that has been a fixture in Gaithersburg since 1975. The club's massive pool, complete with a diving board and waterslide, opens into an outdoor snack shop with abundant picnic areas. The pool and courts are open-air May to September, and are enclosed during the winter months.
