Surf Diva was established as a surfing outlet for women of all ages . Surf Diva offers competitive coaching, camps, and lessons for beginners and more advanced surfers. Its shop features an assortment of products, from surfboards and wetsuits to coffee mugs, DVDs, and a wide variety of apparel. Surf Diva Surf School was founded by Isabelle "Izzy" Tihanyi, who began surfing when she was 8. Surfboards, skim boards, boogie boards and wetsuits can be rented at the shop. Customers can drop their boards off here to be repaired at an offsite location. Warm Winds opened in 1983 and is known as the largest surf shop in the northeast. It's located right around the corner from the beautiful Narragansett beach. The shop carries more than 300 surfboards from brands such as Rusty, Sharp Eye and Local Motion. The shop also rents boards.
The expert surf staff can make recommendations based on your height, weight and surf ability. The shop carries a large selection of wetsuits by Rip Curl, Quiksilver and others, in addition to stylish brands of mens' and womens' surf wear. The Boneyard's downtown Edgartown location is smaller than its main store but offers the same range of clothing and accessories for men and women.
