At Alcoholism Treatment Helpline, we emphasize that the biggest challenge an addict faces is admitting that he or she has lost control. Drugs have a way of skewing an addict’s perception of reality in a way which makes him or her feel in control when actually the substance abuse is controlling them. Our expert staff have experienced quite often that this idea of control is the biggest challenge to the drug addiction recovery program. We aim to take that control away from the substance being abused and place the recovering addict back in control of their lives. Change becomes easier, faster and permanent once the patient feels that he or she has regained the control they lost. Calling us today will be the first step in regaining control. We centralize our treatment options on the needs of the individual patient. We ensure that all aspects of the person’s problem are taken into account and treated properly. Calling us today will be the first step in regaining control.

Chiropractic History I have had the privilege of practicing Chiropractic for 31 years. Over that time I have seen thousands of patients respond to this gentle and effective treatment without the use of drugs and surgery. Chiropractic has been performed for thousands of years and was documented by the Greeks. The art form was used to correct the misalignment of body structures and was used with medicine at that time. In 1895 modern Chiropractic was founded in Davenport, Iowa by accident when B.J. Palmer (a magnetic healer) adjusted the neck of a deaf janitor and his hearing was restored. Thinking he had found the cure for deafness patients showed up at his door by the thousands. Low and behold very few had their hearing restored, and what did happen was surprising to Palmer! They got well from all types of problems, aches, pains, internal disorders, skin lesions, and a host of other problems. This opened up the world of Chiropractic the largest non-drug, non-surgical healing art and Science in the world. There are about 35 Chiropractic Colleges all over the United States and in foreign countries and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees are given out after 4 years of study. Chiropractic Colleges also require that the individual have a 4 year undergraduate degree prior to entering school. Chiropractic has grown by leaps and bounds over the years. We are in hospitals, involved in professional sports, college athletics and treat millions of patients per year. We
