The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation works under the Colorado Department of Human Services. It assists individuals whose disabilities result in barriers to employment to succeed at work and live independently. The division offers evaluation and diagnostic services to determine eligibility and services needed for the individual to become employed. With a location in Denver, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation also offers vocational rehabilitation counseling and guidance directly by a vocational rehabilitation counselor during the individuals plan of services. In addition, it provides vocational, academic and personal training, job coaching, and books, tools and other training materials. The division additionally provides specialized services for individuals who are visually and hearing impaired, including interpreter, note-taking and reader services.

Larimer County Human Services provides services to residents of Larimer County in Colorado, which assist individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency and social well-being. The department s services are provided either directly by department personnel or through collaborations or contracts with other community agencies. Its individual and family programs protect adults and children, help people to become employed and assist youth and families in properly handling their family and community conflicts. The department takes leadership in community efforts to assess human service needs, plan for more effective and efficient human services delivery and address emerging community needs. Human Services works closely with the other county departments in the Health and Human Services Division to develop, coordinate and evaluate the total package of human services provided by Larimer County.

Envision is the designated community centered board serving Weld County and is operated as a nonprofit organization and is governed by a volunteer board of directors representing the persons served, their families, and the citizens of Weld County. Envision provides services that assist children, adults, and families who have a person with a developmental delay or disability and is one of the largest human services organizations in Northern Colorado. Envisions mission is to enhance the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities in Weld County. Envision assists about 1000 Weld County residents and their families annually and strives to meet the needs of each individual, regardless of age or developmental disability.
