The Nipper Maher Park is located on Dartmouth Street, off of South Street. The park features basball fields, a tennis court and basketball court. This field is also used by Waltham High and other little league teams for baseball. There are public restrooms available during baseball season.
Founded in 1998, Baseball Unlimited is located on Athletic Field Road next to Leary Field. Baseball Unlimited is an indoor training center where children and adults learn or practice their baseball hitting skills. The facility has five batting cages in a comfortable, 7,500-square-foot area. Batting cages can be rented by the half hour or hour and personal instruction is available for an additional fee. Memberships are available with benefits that include reduced rates for rentals and instruction. Baseball Unlimited operates leagues and clinics throughout the year. Training can be arranged in private, semi- private, group or team lessons. The facility can also be rented for birthday parties or other events. The Massachusetts Gymnastics Center is located on Clematis Avenue, off of Beaver Street. It was originally founded in 1974 and has been operated by the present owners since 1984.
The Massachusetts Gymnastics Center is specifically for young children. The mission is "to make a positive difference in the health and well being of our students." It offers a 13-week class program for several different age levels, from pre-school to nine years. Vacation camp programs are also offered, as are competitive team programs.

The Boys and Girls Club offers a safe environment for children ages 6-18 after school. The club offers an array of age-appropriate activities and strives to help kids realize and reach their full potentials. This location features swimming instruction, basketball and field hockey, among many other programs.
The Waltham Boys & Girls Club has been in Waltham since 1937 and at this location since 1952. The Waltham Boys & Girls Club is a well-equipped community center for local kids, ages 6 - 18. You'll find a pool, gym, game room, computer lab and more. This non-profit organization charges a small membership, which includes to all areas of the club and all additional programs it offers.
Weston Racquet Club opened in 1966 and is a membership-only tennis club. It has 10 courts available year round. The courts are outdoor courts during the good-weather months, and lighting allows for nighttime play as well. In the cold-weather months, the courts are converted to indoor courts using special enclosures. Club membership includes many other amenities, such as use of the swimming pool, free tennis clinics, player matching, socials, special events and more.
Weston Racquet Club also has a pro shop and cafe located in its clubhouse.
Located at the intersection of Waverly Oaks Road and Beaver Street, the Cornelia Warren Field is a 4-acre park with athletic fields. The fields are multi-purpose, and are used for football, softball and other adult and youth sports leagues.
