Located near the city center, Desert Sun Tanning Salon provides customers with 11 tanning beds to choose from to get a nice tan. Customers can choose from conventional, super, or sunless tanning beds. This location also sells tanning oils and lotions for before and after your session.
The Gig Harbor Sportsman's Club has been in business for more than 60 years. This shooting range is known for trap, skeet, five stand, rifle, pistol and archery. The club offers classes and instructions in hunting, trapshooting, NRA-certified firearms courses, and general shooting instructions. Classes and instructions are by appointment. The Sportsman's Club holds weekly competitions as well. Members, non-members and guests are welcome.
Paddock Wood Farm is a 35-acre equestrian center in the heart of Gig Harbor. Horse owners can board their horses here. There are separate paddocks with 29 stalls surrounded with vinyl/electric fences. According to the “horse-friendly” schedule, a breakfast of premium grain is served at 6am, followed by top timothy and alfalfa around 9am. The horses then get turned out until 4pm and have dinner around 5pm. Someone watches over the horses 24 hours a day. Paddock Wood Farm is proud to say it is the only farm in Gig Harbor with real trails, which are grandfathered in.
Opened in 1951 and redesigned in 1979 by Robert Muir Graves, this private 9-hole track requires accurate drives as the fairways are tight and lined with trouble. The par 3's are reportedly this course's most demanding aspect, while the additional set of tee blocks and pin placements allow for a different perspective when playing 18 holes. The course rating is 34.4 and it has a slope rating of 117.

Peninsula Athletic Association was formed more than 50 years ago by individuals interested in providing sports opportunities for children in the Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula areas. PAA provides youth sports for grades kindergarten to twelve. It is open to both boys and girls and offers basketball, baseball and soccer. Participation and equal playing time is encouraged and supported by the Association, coaches and parents.

Dinner meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month September through June. The clubhouse is available to rent for receptions, private parties, corporate functions and meetings.
