Malachi Golf, located at Lanier Golf Club, is a resource for custom fit golf clubs and golf game enhancement. Located on Buford Dam Road, the entryway to Malachi is adjacent to the entryway of Lanier Golf Club. Fittings are available by appointment only. Shady Grove Campground, located at 7800 Shadburn Ferry Road on the shores of Lake Lanier, offers 110 campsites for visitors and is open through November 6.
During the off-season the Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department made improvements to the 109-acre campground costing around $1 million.

Country Land Golf Course is a picturesque, semi-private facility located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It has been in operation since 1991. The affordable rates and beautiful countryside make this a worthy course to visit in the Atlanta area. Country Land hosts tournaments, outings and group events. Its ABC outings pair players of similar levels into teams for play. To add to the competition and sportsmanship, opposing team members are required to ride in the same golf cart.
English Ivy Farms is a locally owned and operated business. It is located close to highway 400 north of Cumming. It has 12 stables and over 14 acres of grass rich pasture land. Its trainer is well educated in training, riding, and foaling, and volunteers her time with the local 4-H and Girl Scout organizations. English Ivy Farms offers lessons in hunter and jumper style and is able to provide the horse for each lesson.
Cumming Dance Academy is owned by Niki Jernigan-Watkins, a professional dancer who is classically trained in ballet, pointe, tap and jazz and has traveled the world professionally. The academy offers lessons in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, pointe, musical theatre, voice and pre acrobatics to all age groups, beginning at age 18 months.

The YMCA Forsyth is in a new building to the back of Vickery Village, off of Post Road. It offers fitness equipment, personal training and classes for adults and children. You can work out with its free weights, strength machines, spin cycles, treadmills, treadwalkers, ellipticals or stair climbers. Classes are scheduled throughout the day and include yoga, spinning, step, Corepole and Zumba. The schedule changes every 6 to 8 weeks. Depending on the time of year, children can do gymnastics, soccer, swim lessons, or basketball. Child care is available in the mornings and late afternoons in a clean and friendly daycare to kids 6 weeks and up. After school care is also available for kids at Vickery Creek. For non-residents, the center offers private and family memberships at an annual cost plus an initiation fee.
