About North Star Figure Skating Club Formed in 1987, our club is based out of the Northstar Youth Forum in Westborough, Massachusetts. We offer sessions for beginners through Senior level skaters. Recent expansion of our facility allows us to offer off ice classes ( including pilates and ballet ), US Skate with US accelerated basic skills bridge classes ( Shining Stars of North Star ), regularly scheduled test sessions, BS Freestyle Sessions, US Moves-In-the-Field and Freestyle sessions, power classes and edge classes. We have a full ice harness as well as a pro-motion hand held jumping harness. Our facility has two off ice rooms, a large meeting/conference room and a viewing area. Our conference room is the place where our Annual Banquet takes place, our competition results are posted and awards ceremonies are held, our coaches hold their meetings and where many new and exciting events will be held. Skate Works, owned and operated by Sergey Meller, is new to our facility. It sells skates, dresses, tights, etc., as well as providing skate sharpening.

Waltham Youth Soccer is a community program run by parents and volunteers. Teams are available for children ages 5 - 19. Travel teams meet twice a week and play Saturday games with other towns in the Middlesex league; players are assigned to teams based on try-outs. The in-town teams are grouped by age and practice once a week, with games on weekends in Waltham. There is also the U6 Co-ed Program for the youngest players. They meet every Sunday to learn the basics and play short games. A full schedule of games and meetings is available on the Web site.

Members enjoy badminton, squash, softball squash, North American hardball courts and six candlepin bowling lanes. Bowling lanes are available to the public upon appointment.
