Featuring laid-back styles in a laid-back kind of atmosphere, Pacific Wave embodies the look and feel of Santa Cruz. For skaters, surfers, and snowboarders, Pacific Wave carries all the necessary equipment.

For clothing and apparel, there is a ton of youthful beach and urban fashion to choose from, including what appears to be an entirely separate storefront for women and girls (this is one big downtown store location). Retail items include backpacks, shoes, shirts, shorts, sunglasses, belts, surfboards, skateboards, snowboards, and helmets. Pacific Wave also rents out and repairs snowboards.

Bill's Wheels first opened in 1977 in downtown Watsonville, and the current store, conveniently located on Soquel Avenue near Morrissey Boulevard, has served Santa Cruzans since 1996. Owner Bill Ackerman has long loved skate boarding and the kids and adults who joined his Bill's Wheels-sponsored Skate Jams in the early days in Watsonville. He takes pride in his friendly and knowledgeable employees who can help skaters choose from the large inventory of skateboards and accessories.
