White Sands Mall is the premier shopping destination and town center for South Central New Mexico. Located in Alamogordo, New Mexico, it is a 266, 366 square foot community shopping center. Located alongside Highways 54/70, the Center enjoys high tourist traffic from El Paso, Texas, and Las Cruces, NM, as well as as Ruidoso NM, and other surrounding communities. The Center is located in an enviable location, as the adjacent areas surrounding it are the most rapidly developing, both residentially and commercially. JC Penneys, Bealls, and BigKmart anchor the Center. We have many other national retailers as well. They have successfully become part of our community. The 46th Test Group is also part of Holloman Air Force Base. The longest Test Track of record ( 10 miles ) is located there, and is operational.
