Established in 1910, Portland Adventist Academy provides Christ-centered education. It offers classes in English, fine arts, math, science, social studies, and computer and physical education. The academy also provides foreign language classes in German and Spanish. It has a library and media center that includes a range of books, magazines and periodicals. Portland Adventist Academy also offers the English as a Second Language program and conducts several field trips. It is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges and the State of Oregon. The academy provides several sports activities, such as golf, cross-country and basketball.
