Sheridan Senior Center is a local, nonprofit organization that provides a variety of services to senior citizens. It offers a nutrition program and provides home-delivered meals to those who are unable to come to the meal sites. The center also offers several personal care and homemaking services, including cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry, bathing, nail care, dressing, feeding, respite care, yard work and snow shoveling. Its family caregiver program provides information, education, assistance, support and respite care services to those family members who are taking care of senior citizens and older adults who are taking care of children with developmental disabilities. Additionally, it offers various leisure activities, such as choir groups, painting, crafts making, creative writing, stamping, dance, tai chi, health exercises and day trips. The center is located in Sheridan, Wyo.
