The Co-Op School is a nonprofit preschool and elementary school with two campus locations in the area. Originally founded by a small group of parents seeking affordable quality preschool, the program grew to include its first kindergarten class in 2011, with a new grade added each year until 5th grade to accommodate the school's advancing students. The Brevoort Place campus serves as the school's primary elementary location and is also home to two pre-k classrooms. The school's facilities include a wood shop, library, art and music rooms, a rec room and a rooftop garden.
