Located in the historic center of Natick, the First Congregational Church is considered one of the oldest in town. The Victorian Gothic style red brick building was built in 1651 and moved from South Natick to its current location in 1799. It was named to the National Registry of Historic Places in 1977. Rev. Victoria Alford Guest and Rev. Summer F. Shaud preside over the church, which runs its own non-sectarian pre-school.

Set up in a large office building off Pearl, Impact offers a very unique set of classes. Its extremely realistic self-defense courses simulate the threats, intimidation and violence encountered during an assault. Classes are taught by a two-man team, one taking the role of instructor, the other donning a full-body suit of armor and taking the role of perpetrator. Students defend themselves with full contact. Classes are offered for men and women and a special course is offered for assault survivors. Impact also provides community courses and workplace classes, and works with local homeless shelters. The Roxbury-Weston Programs is comprised of the Roxbury Weston Preschool and C.A.T.C.H. (Children Achieving Through Community Hope) After school programs. The program was started by families from Weston and Roxbury in 1965, as a way to bring together suburban and urban families. Both programs serve children from Dorchester, West Roxbury, Hyde Park, Lincoln, Mattapan, Roxbury, Roslindale, Weston, Sudbury, Waltham, Wayland and Wellesley. The preschool is located in Weston in the First Parish Church; the after school program is located in Roxbury in the Church of Christ.
