The University of Texas Investment Company, also known as UTIMCO, is an investment corporation that deals in the management of investment assets. Founded in 1996, it is governed and managed by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas Systems. The company s investment portfolio includes the Permanent University Fund, Permanent Health Fund, Separately Invested Fund and Long Term Fund. UTIMCO invests more than $21 billion endowment and operating funds. The company has over 20 billion funds under management. It has a staff of nearly 55 individuals. UTIMCO is manager for one of the largest endowment funds in the United States.
