Main Street Quilting Company is a full service quilt shop, located in the heart of historic downtown Bozeman, is the largest quilting store in southwest Montana. We are well known for our batiks, western fabrics, and antique postcard fabrics. We offer a huge selection of books, patterns and the latest quilting notions. From cotton, wool, and recycled batting to brand name threads. You’ll find everything you need for your next quilting project in one spot. Whether purchasing a spool of thread, or a top of the line Sewing Machine, our customers are always greeted with a warm friendly hello. Our knowledgeable and talented staff is happy to answer any questions our customers may have. We offer a wide range of informative classes, taught in small groups to ensure that you get plenty of personalized attention that will appeal to sewists of all skill levels and interests. Our classes are a great way to learn a new skill, and are also a wonderful opportunity to be surrounded by creativity and inspiration while meeting others who share in your passion. Our History Main Street Quilting Company originally opened its doors as "Patchworks" in the mid 1970s. While over the years the name, owners and locations have changed...the love of quilting, and sharing that art with others, has remained. In 2010, Main Street Quilting Company took over Bozemans local BERNINA dealership and moved one door east to its current location at 128 E Main Street in the historic Fetcher Building. In 2013, our store changed ownership and we are pleased to welcome Gwen Wardell to our store! Gwen comes to Main Street Quilting Co. with many years of teaching and quilting experience. We added Janome Sewing Machines to our store in the Fall of 2016 and are excited to help you find just the right tool to help you!
