Preschool in the Village offers developmentally appropriate programs for children ages 3 to 5 years old. It is a non-sectarian, non-profit institution located in the Congregational Church of Amherst. PIV's curriculum focuses on language as well as cognitive, social and physical development. The PIV director is Susan Drumm.
The Amherst Preschool focuses on developmental programming for children 3 and 4 years old. Literature, science, nature, music and art are offered. The Amherst Preschool is a non-sectarian school located at the Christ's Church of Amherst facility. Summer camp programs are also offered through the school.
