The Peninsula Shopping Center overlooks Torrance and the South Bay, and covers several long blocks, running all the way from Hawthorne Boulevard to Crossfield Drive. It is an outdoor shopping center with a covered walking promenade at the west end. The eclectic array of shops includes both upscale places like a jewelry store, a high-end workout club and elegant dining options, as well as more standard fare like a Pavilions grocery store, a Rite Aid pharmacy and a Starbucks. Hours vary for each business. The Center hosts a farmers' market on Sundays from 9am - 1pm.
